Flashback at Sports Commission : LPRC Oilers Meets Pythons Today

The second leg of the best out of three games involving LPRC Oilres and NPA
Pythons in the 2008 National league of the Liberia Basketball Federation (LBF) is
expected to kick of today at the opened air Sports Commission on Broad Street.

The first leg on Sunday, April 27, 2008 saw the Oil boys wining Pythons by 64 to
63 points. A win for the Oilers will see them through to the next stage of
the LBF competition.

Other encounters of the day will see Survivors engaging K-Deltas while
Commissioners will play host to Phoenix in a female second leg battle.

K-Deltas over powered Survivors 60 to 33 points in the first leg on Friday, while
Phoenix went down to Commissioners 36 to 54 points on Saturday.

K-Deltas and Commissioners are expected to be out for their second win each to
reach the next stage of the competition. Survivors and Phoenix will be fighting
to change things around.

On Thursday, May 1, 2008 the LBF Best Out of Three matches will continue with four
second division teams in ado or die battles.

Game one will see Wild Cats in a come back move as she host Sacbase. The visitors
won the first leg on Saturday by 66 to 61 points.
The next match will bring Cardinals face to face with Dream Team II in what
pundits called a match of decision.
A win for Cardinals today will see them to the next stage after beating Dream
Team II 85 to 73 points in the first game.

The battles at the Sports Commission will continue on Friday, May 2, 2008. The
first game will see third division side St. Paul Crushers going against
Barnesville Celtics in their second encounter of the Best out of three matches.
Barnesville Celtics won the first leg by 75 to 65 points.

On the same day, Uhuru Kings will battle Dream Team I. Kings won two of the three
matches to get to the next stage of the competition. In the first game Dream Team
I was over powered by Kings by 80 to 83 points.
